If an event participant is unable to attend the event, please contact the event organiser who will attempt to fill the vacancy. If the vacancy cannot be filled, no refund will be provided. Should you wish to contest the decision not to provide a refund, the matter will be reviewed by the CCCV committee and its decision will be final.

CCCV MONTHLY MEETING SEPTEMBER 2024 Members Monthly meeting is held at the Manningham Hotel . (1 Thompsons Road , Bulleen) Members meet on the second Thursday each month for dinner and a drink in the Pavillion Room . Most members arrive from 6.45 pm , the meeting formally commences at 7.30 pm . We cover past events , upcoming events , corporate housekeeping and matters of interest concerning owning , building , buying , driving and just enjoying Cobras . New and prospective members are welcome to attend. (at least 14 people are going to this event!) |

Sandown @Stiffy's THE LAST ONE @ SANDOWN Sunday 15th September 2024 The Penrite Oil Sandown 500 is back on the Supercars calendar at the right time and traditional 500-kilometre race with co-drivers. The lead up event to the Bathurst 1000. 2024 will be special as it’s the last Sandown 500 EVER, the event is moving to the Bend. • BBQ food, Beer, Wine, Soft drink, Water provided by the club. Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive 2024 (worldwide) This event was supported by CCCV members last year . We are looking for a member to be the convenor of our clubs participation arrangements this year . The intention is to join in the Melbourne group drive rather than configure our own. | Saturday 05 | Greek Easter in October! The CCCV committee is pleased to provide a special event for 40 lucky members, to be held in the salubrious factory of our beloved membership secretary, which is located in Bayswater North. A spit roast of lamb and chicken will be provided as well as drinks. Start time is 11am with first carving expected by 12pm. This event is limited to the first 40 people to register and the exact location will be provided to those lucky enough to get an entry prior to the event. | Friday 01 | SNOWY MOUNTAINS RUN 2024 This premium CCCV scenic driving event will be held from 1st to 5th November 2024 . Travelling to the NSW Snowy Mountains region with accomodation in Myrtleford, Tumbarumba, Jinbadyne and Tumut this drive over 5 days passes through some of the most scenic places NSW has to offer. The program involves approx. 1400 klms of driving in total so it’s a reasonably busy schedule, particularly the last day. If participants chose, they could stay longer in NSW and explore further. Costing is $695.00 per car (2 people) . 10 car limit ,( max participant numbers 20 ). Deposit of $350 payable 1st September, final payment $345 payable 1st October 2024. RSVP: 13th September 2024. MORNINGTON PENINSULA CRUZE 2024 After a few years absence this popular drive is back for 2024 !!! The southern Mornington Peninsula has some of the best scenery and roads for a drive in your Cobra . We meet and start at Penlink FSC ( BP ) outbound and will finish at a private property which backs on to the national park near the Rye back beach . Lots of fantastic roads and morning coffee in between. Lunch will be a BBQ provided by the club . Cost to be advised . Start time and destination details will be shared closer to the day . | Sunday 08 | End of Year Function - Riverview Room - The Grand Hotel Warrandyte Our 2024 End of Year function for 2024 will be at The Grand Hotel Warrandyte. We will have our own private function room the Riverview room - upstairs. Commencing at 12 noon. Cost per person is $30. RSVP essential as we have to pre-pay for the number of attendees. This venue has both indoor and an outdoor deck area which has great views. The drive starts at the Calder Park BP outbound and heads towards the much celebrated Macedon Ranges region of Victoria . Morning coffee and lunch stops will be part of the itinerary .
